FREE PATTERN: Duolingo Amigurumi

My husband reached a great milestone with his Duolingo account and I wanted to create a crochet Duo plushie for him. People seemed really interested in a pattern so I decided to write one up!! I wanted to capture Duo's essence in a cute plushie and I feel like I did a pretty good job! :)

I do not own the intellectual rights to Duo... of course :) Therefore, I am unable to sell this pattern in any way. That also means that you cannot distribute this pattern and/or the plushie for profit in any way. If you choose to sell the plushie, I will not be held accountable for any legal trouble that you may find yourself in. So this is a warning! DO NOT sell this plushie or try to steal this pattern for profit (I feel like the second one goes without saying...)

I hope you enjoy this pattern!! Please tag me in your finished creations and also add the hashtag #DuoPlushie to your post so we can collect all the cute Duo's together!

It helps so you don’t have a diagonal line where you turned going up the side!

I’m making this for a friend’s upcoming birthday as well! She’s learning Spanish and/or French (she may have given up on French) and I’m learning French and passively Japanese. We often bond over duolingo so it was one of the first things that came to mind! Good luck with learning English! From that comment it looks like you’re doing quite well

Hi…I want to make this cutie for my granddaughter, but can’t seem to find the correct shades of green. What brand of yarn and color name did you use. Thanks for the free pattern.
